Performance Manager / Digital Marketer

Are you an organisational talent with a keen eye for results? At Traffic Today in Enschede, we’re looking for a Performance Manager. You could say: a digital marketer with a broad overview, a feel for the client’s needs and a healthy love of structure. But without having to be the one pulling all the strings yourself all day long.

In this role, you’ll maintain the big picture, lead teams and ensure that projects not only run smoothly but also genuinely contribute to our clients’ success. You enjoy brainstorming with clients, thinking strategically and driving campaigns forward from start to finish. From planning to performance. From idea to result.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will act as a strategic sparring partner for your clients. You will be in charge of your projects and will liaise with advertising, SEO, social media and content specialists to achieve maximum impact. You will analyse data, translate insights into concrete growth opportunities and monitor progress and results.

With your experience, you’ll take responsibility for both strategy and execution, and you’ll know how to convince clients with well-founded advice. With us, you’ll have the freedom to work independently, but you’ll never be on your own: together with a team of specialists, you’ll build sustainable results.

A day in the life of a Performance Manager

You start your day with a cup of coffee and review your clients’ results. For one client, you see that a new campaign is performing strongly, whilst for another, conversions are lagging behind. You delve into the data, analyse the reasons behind the difference and translate this into concrete optimisations. Later in the morning, you discuss your findings in a client meeting, during which you clearly explain the situation and how you will take the next step together.

In the afternoon, you’ll work on the strategy for a new client: you’ll map out the objectives, explore opportunities and set out the framework for a full-funnel approach. You then lead a client team meeting, where you exchange ideas and inspire one another alongside specialists from SEA, social and content. You round off your day by drawing up an action plan, so that the next day you can immediately continue to build on growth in a targeted manner.

This is you

You have at least 3 years’ experience in online marketing or project management

You have strong communication skills and know how to manage expectations clearly

You feel comfortable in the role of coordinator and maintain an overview

You’re comfortable working with data, KPIs and dashboards

You are proactive, enterprising and take the initiative without needing to be asked

What can you expect from us?

You’ll earn a salary of between €3,000 and €4,500 per month, commensurate with your experience and level.
