Towards the end of my Bachelor’s degree in International Business Communication, one thought kept running through my mind: what next? I was at least certain that I wanted to gain practical experience. The idea of writing yet another dissertation whilst doing a Master’s degree didn’t appeal to me at all. Still, the question remained as to which field I wanted to explore further, as there are so many possibilities with my degree.
Whilst searching, I came across a vacancy for a Digital Marketing traineeship. It was ideal: a chance to explore, whilst learning, which area of digital marketing I’m most passionate about. After having a browse on the Traffic Today website, the company’s approach immediately caught my eye: a no-nonsense attitude and a shared commitment to providing the best possible service for the client.
During my degree, the subject of marketing was covered only briefly, so I started my traineeship with relatively little prior knowledge. Unfortunately, work placements were not part of my degree programme, and the focus was mainly on the theoretical side of business communication. Fortunately, this wasn’t a problem, as I quickly got to grips with the work through the online courses and supporting tasks. I also joined a friendly and committed team, where I soon felt at home.
As well as my work, in my spare time I like to go for a run a couple of times a week. I also really enjoy going out for dinner and having a drink on a terrace or at a club with my friends. As well as all these activities, I’m just as happy spending the whole evening on the sofa watching a good series or film.
At Traffic Today , we operate according to a unique organisational structure, inspired by Eckart Wintzen’s cell-based principle. This enables us to grow organically and sustainably, without compromising on our culture, expertise and flexibility.
