Machiel Oude Wesselink

Hi! I’m Machiel, I live in Denekamp and have been working as an SEO Marketer at Traffic Today since April 2026.

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Economics at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede, I undertook the Digital Marketing Traineeship at Adwise in 2022. There, I was introduced to virtually all disciplines within online marketing. I then spent over three years working on the client side. During this period, my ambition to specialise further as an SEO Marketer grew.

That ambition stems from my interest in SEO as a marketing discipline. For me, SEO is the perfect combination of data, technology and content. The constant process of analysing, optimising and improving to achieve sustainable growth makes the work challenging and varied. It is precisely this long-term thinking and the ability to drive organic growth that energise me.

I’m also a real football fan. I play as a left winger in a Sunday league team at SDC’12 in Denekamp and am a season-ticket holder for Feyenoord. I’m therefore regularly at De Kuip to support the finest club in the Netherlands. Outside of football, I keep active by going for a run or hitting the gym.

I also love sunny holidays and a good time. Whether it’s drinks on a terrace, an evening with friends in the pub or a team outing: I love being part of it!
