My name is Chaimae Meqrot Maskoul – a name you’ll probably have to read three times (and still won’t quite get the pronunciation right, but I’ll forgive you for that). I live with my husband in Lochem, where it’s nice and quiet and neighbours still say hello to one another.
I’ve now been working at Traffic Today for a few years, and I still really enjoy it. I was looking for a place with great colleagues, scope for development and a working atmosphere that didn’t feel like a corporate charade. And I found it. The down-to-earth way of working, the open atmosphere and the trust you’re given to follow your own path – that fits perfectly with how I prefer to work.
What makes my job enjoyable? The variety, the client interactions and the chance to get a little better at what I do every day. And, secretly, the dry humour in the workplace too.
Outside of work, I’m either working out like mad or spontaneously turning into a couch potato – there’s rarely anything in between. I like to go all out in both directions. I try to visit my family in Morocco every year, and whenever possible, I head for the sun in winter. I also enjoy being around people, but I’m perfectly happy on my own with a TV series and a cosy blanket.
If I were to describe myself (and Traffic Today) in three words, they would be: ambitious, friendly and just nice and normal.
At Traffic Today , we operate according to a unique organisational structure, inspired by Eckart Wintzen’s cell-based principle. This enables us to grow organically and sustainably, without compromising on our culture, expertise and flexibility.
