After completing my degree in Business Economics, I knew straight away that life had more in store for me than balance sheets and profit and loss accounts… So, having started out in the financial sector, I soon moved on to what I’m truly passionate about: digital marketing!
After working for a number of years at a marketing agency in Wierden, it was time to swap familiar Wierden for Deventer. A new, exciting challenge that I embraced wholeheartedly. Starting out at a large agency with over 70 colleagues wasn’t something I was used to. But after the first few days, I immediately felt at home. Having lunch together, a spot of FIFA in the Chill Room, pizza nights and, last but not least, heading off to the Ardennes with the whole team in my second week. Definitely the ideal way to get to know all my colleagues!
I love balancing work with a bit of fun. Whether that’s over a (special) beer on a terrace, at a festival, or lacing up my boots on a patch of grass in the Kelderklasse. I’m always up for a bit of fun. Oh, and I also pop round regularly for a coffee with my family and my dog Twirre (who, by the way, loves attention).
My biggest hobby? Football. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been on the football pitch every week at SVZW in Wierden. I used to play in the senior teams, but in recent years I’ve been playing with my friends in the Kelderklasse (the lowest of the low), where the ‘third half’ is perhaps even more important than the first and second. If I’m not at SVZW, you’ll probably find me at Heracles Almelo. As well as attending every home match as a supporter, I’m also a member of Heracles’ Business Club and Business Team. Oh, and I try to go to the gym a couple of times a week, as my own team’s training sessions are sometimes cancelled.
What’s great about working at Traffic Today? Getting to work for different clients every day, opportunities for (personal) development, and the friendly atmosphere in the office. As well as working, we naturally enjoy ourselves at Friday afternoon drinks, quarterly outings and the annual weekend breaks. Work hard, play hard!
At Traffic Today , we operate according to a unique organisational structure, inspired by Eckart Wintzen’s cell-based principle. This enables us to grow organically and sustainably, without compromising on our culture, expertise and flexibility.
