Jordy van der Kolk

Hi, I’m Jordy and I was born and raised in Zwolle. I studied Commercial Economics at Windesheim, where I developed a passion for marketing. When I started the course, I was still very much feeling my way, as I’d previously completed an MBO qualification in Engineering. So that was something quite different from what I do now. When I finally graduated from Windesheim, I wasn’t quite done with my personal development. I’m actually a very keen learner, which is why I started looking for a traineeship.

That’s how I ended up at Traffic Today . I was already somewhat familiar with the company, and after my first interview at the Traffic Today office in Deventer, I was immediately sold on the idea. This led to me starting an online advertising traineeship at Traffic Today in September 2023.

I was able to join the team that had moved to the new branch in Zwolle just a few weeks earlier. As a Zwolle resident, this worked out perfectly for me; now I can cycle to Traffic Today every day.

In my spare time, I can often be found at the gym or on the football pitch in the village of Windesheim. I play for the first team there and always try, as a team, to get the most out of every match. As well as sport, I also enjoy going out with my friends. You’ll often find me on a terrace in Zwolle or at a party in the neighbourhood. I’m someone who likes to keep busy in my spare time, which is why I’m often out and about.
